She attended Rutgers University where she discovered her passion for art and earned a BA with a concentration in painting and a minor in Anthropology. She attended Seton Hall University where she earned a masters degree in education. She is a faculty instructor at the Montclair Art Museum, Yard School of Art as well as a co-founding member of the women artists' collective _gaia studio in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Artist Statement:
My intention is to create an intuitive emotional response in the viewer through use of color and textural elements. My most recent paintings are an exploration of Braille, interpreting it as a visual code. Although conceptual in nature, the vivid use of color and contrasting application of thread stirs an emotional connection in the viewer even before the underlying symbolic meaning is understood.
